Royal Wedding 2011 Fashion : Kate Middleton Wears Alexander McQueen by Sarah Burton Wedding Dress.  With much anticipation Kate Middleton did end up going with an Alexander McQueen dress that was designed by Sarah Burton. Her Wedding dress was a very vintage inspired gown with lace sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and a very long train. Over 60 designers from the Alexander design teamed worked on Kate’s gown. Simple yet elegant and made for a princess. She paired with her gown a small tiara and veil and her makeup was actually applied by herself. Her hair was kept in a half up half down style that was perfect while her earrings were by Robinson Pelham. Her overall look had a strong Grace Kelly feel that I adored look below to see her completed look.
